Climatic changes and consequences
The Earth's climatic is changing, more radically and faster in the polar regions than elsewhere. This has consequences for animals, plants and the landscape and therefore also for humans not just in the Arctic but all over the world.

Arctic Climate Impact Assessment (ACIA)
This homepage contains information about climatic changes and what their possible consequences might be. Between 2000 and 2004 a team of several hundred scientists have researched and worked through all available material on Arctic climatic changes. Their work was published in November 2004 in a popular scientific edition (the ACIA report). It is this report that forms the basis for this homepage.
