Research Projects with Ethical Aspects

If you are planning to launch a medical, physiological, anthropological or similar project in Greenland and plan to involve humans as study objects, your project will have to pass a scientific evaluation before it can be approved.

The Helsinki Declaration forms the basis of the ethical evaluation.

You will need to apply for a permit in accordance with special guidelines.

Notice that you will have to submit the application to DPC at least 3 months before the start of the planned project.

Read the Helsinki Declaration on biomedical research involving human subjects.
